Saj feels ignored

Bolton's England pace bowler Sajid Mahmood has questioned his selection for the third Ashes Test after he was frequently "ignored" for bowling duties in Perth.

The 24-year-old received his first Ashes call-up for what proved to be a series-clinching third straight victory for the Australians, but he was asked to bowl just 17 overs in the match, including only 10 as the home side cut loose to score 527 for five in the second innings.

Mahmood admitted in The Guardian: "I felt a little bit ignored at times, especially after my first two overs in the second innings when I didn't get another go until about the 70th over."
